Taylor, Joseph H. 77 of Rayland, OH died Saturday August 27, 2011 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus; He was born October 25, 1933 in Power, WV a son of the late Henry R. and Alice Long Taylor.Early in life Joseph was in the United States Navy, he furthered himself with 27 years as a steel worker from Ferro Alloy Co. in Brilliant, OH, and working 12 years as a coal miner for Boich Mining Co. He was a avid hunter and fisherman and loved to spend time with friends at the Mingo Sportsman's Club. But he especially loved his Sugie Bear "Bubba". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Taylor, and four sisters Theda Roset, Thurma Stultz, Lela Ellis, and Dorthy Taylor. Joseph is survived by his wife Irma Tweedy Taylor of 55 years, 3 sons Gary and Tawnya Taylor of Tiltonsville, Jeff and Barb Taylor of Warsaw, Ohio and Scott Taylor of Hilliard, Ohio, one daughter Tammy and Jim Herman of Tiltonsville, and one brother Henry and Goldie Taylor of Boone, IA, 9 grand children and 12 great grand children several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 11am until time of service at 1pm, Saturday September 3, 2011 at Rush Run Community Chapel 1983 Co. Rd. 17 Rayland, OH with Rev. Jim Monogioudis officiating.
