Joseph Ruben Warner, 84, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Friday, May 22, 2015. He was born December 12, 1930 in Freeport, Ohio, son of the late Thomas O. Warner and Ella Mae Kinney Warner.
A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Barnesville VFW Post 2792 and the Barnesville American Legion Post 0168. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, coon hunting, gardening, and game shows.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Warner; granddaughter, Brittany Warner; brothers, Bill and Clyde Warner; infant brother, Paul Warner; and sister, Myrtle Clay.
Joseph is survived by his daughters, Kathryn (Steve) Helms, Krista (Scott) Shipley all of Barnesville, Ohio; sons, Joseph (Kathy) Warner of Bethesda, Ohio, Jeffrey Warner (Tracy Guy), John (Jodi) Warner, Jay (Christel) Warner all of Barnesville, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Colgrove of Londonderry, Ohio; brothers, Roger Warner of Canton, Ohio and Richard Warner of Freeport, Ohio.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Tuesday from 1 p.m., until the time of service beginning at 3 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Pastor Rodney West officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio, with Military Honors conducted by Belmont County Veteran's Association.
