Joseph Zelek, 93, of Adena, OH died February 10, 2018 at his home.  He was born December 1, 1924, in Dun Glen, OH,  a son of the late Stanley and Mary (Gazda) Zelek.  He retired from the Y & O Coal Company after 30 years and was a state mine inspector for 20 years.  Joseph was the owner and operator of the Zelek farm and was a Catholic by faith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Cameron Matusik, and Stanley and Walter "Babe" Zelek.  He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Wilma (Jarrett) Zelek; children, Larry (Teresa) Zelek of Adena, Joseph (Rose) Zelek of Dillonvale, Jean (Jim) Yates of Dillonvale, Wilma (Larry) Boroski of Rayland; brother, Frank (Rosemary) Zelek of Adena; sister, Helen Gullo, of Dillonvale; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and his buddy, "Otis."  A private service will be held with interment at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.  Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Dillonvale, OH.  To offer online condolences please visit www.wilsonfuneralhomes.com
