BARRITT, Josephine, 88, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed away October 14, 2010 at her home. Josephine was born October 29, 1921, a daughter of the late Steve and Bertha Christmyer of Martins Ferry, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Barritt; a brother Bernard Christmyer and her son, William (Bill) Barritt who lost his life in Vietnam. Jo is survived by daughters Shirley (Steve) Kargel of Tucson, Arizona, and Lori (John) Dobrovich of Bridgeport; sons: Clayton (Carol) Barritt Jr. of Hudson, Wisconsin and Bruce Barritt of Orlando, Florida; eight grandchildren: Edward Carroll, Koraine White, William Barritt, Jeffrey Barritt, Amber Barritt, Arielle Haughee, Logan Dobrovich, Lacee Dobrovich, also 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a brother Harold Christmyer and Jo's fiancé James Barritt. Josephine was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and was on two bowling leagues. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio on Saturday October 16, 2010 from 12:30 until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. with the Reverend John Mucha, officiating.
