Josephine E. "June" Chickery of Blaine, OH, 97, passed away November 26, 2016 at OMVC. She was born February 19, 1919 in Bridgeport, OH, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Savera) Stankavich. She was retired from Marsh Wheeling Stogies, was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Neffs, and a member of the Catholic Woman's Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Chickery in 1974; her brothers; Anthony, John, Joseph, and William Stankavich and sisters; Sophia Garbeck, Ann Gooding and Nell Imer. Josephine is survived by her son, Leslie Chickery of Blaine, and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with June's wishes there was a private service with interment at Holly Memorial Gardens. Father John Mucha served as celebrant. Wilson Funeral Homes, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH handled the arrangements.
