Josephine A. "JoAnn" (Coss) Myers, 68, of Concord St., Martins Ferry, OH died Jan., 7, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Jan., 24, 1937 in Bridgeport, OH a daughter of Marie (Strauss) Coss and the late Harmon Coss She was a nurses aide for the In Home Health Care Center and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. Josephine was also a 1954 graduate of St. John Catholic High School, Bellaire, OH. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband Richard G. Myers, Sr. Surviving in addition to her mother of Martins Ferry are two sons Richard "George" (Raquel) Myers, Jr., of Tuscon, AZ, and Matt (Kim) Myers of Martins Ferry, a daughter Dianna "Dee Dee" Bender of Martins Ferry, a brother Jerry (Billie) Coss, two sisters Mary Evelyn Staley and Pat Cika all of Martins Ferry, two grandsons Ricky and Zach Myers and also several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tues. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Weds. at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Thomas Magary officiating. Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Rosary devotions will be recited Tues., at 3:00 PM followed by Wake services at 7:00 PM both in the funeral home.
