Josephine M. Roxby Josephine M. Whitecotton Roxby, 84, of 2311 Chapline St., Wheeling, WV, died Wed., May 21, 2003 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling. She was born Jul. 14, 1918 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Ray and Lillie Lambus Whitecotton. She was retired from the former Uwanta Linen Company, Wheeling, WV and a Methodist by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Roxby, three brothers and three sisters. Surviving are a son Elmer Roxby and his wife Frances of Peoria, IL three daughters Joanne Montgomery and her husband Gene of Colerain, and Frances Hercules and her husband James of Wheeling, and Evelyn Ranek and her husband Harry of Coopersburg, PA, ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received Fri 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Sat. at 11:00 AM with Minister Val Roxby officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
