Josephine I. Stargen, 84, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday November 10, 2015 at East Ohio Reginal Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born December 9, 1930 in Smithfield, a daughter of the late Claud Sr. and Willa Dee (Jones) Stargen. She was a member of Shiloh Temple Bridgeport, and a retired housekeeper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Gary Stargen, a daughter Cynthia Dianna Stargen, three Brothers Claud Jr., Ernest, and Robert Stargen, three sisters Helen Tomlin, Magnolia Snyder, and Patricia Allen. Josephine is survived by a son Ronald Stargen of Bridgeport, a daughter Sylvia (Carroll) Walters of Moundsville, three sisters Juanita Wiggins and Mary Jane Bedford both of Cleveland, and Vita Starks of FL. grandchildren Edward Stargen, Lamont, Shelly, and Shylea Walters, and Melissa Pugh, nine great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Saturday November 14, 2015 from 11am till time of service at 1pm, with Rev.
