Joyce A. Smith 74, of Bellaire passed away Sunday February 20, 2022, at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born December 15, 1947, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Paul and Virginia (Morris) Seevers.

She was a housewife, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, and a graduate of St. John's Catholic School Bellaire.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Ralph E. Smith, children James (Pam) Bleen and Stacy (Steven) Tourchette both of Bridgeport, and Scott (Carolyn) Smith of Minooka, IL, a brother David (Gloria) Seevers of Blaine, and a sister Kelly (Rick) Kroflich of Rayland, 4 grandchildren Matthew Bleen, Alex Tourchette, Sarah, and Charlotte Smith. The family would like to thank the comforting staff at Martins Ferry Hospital from the ER to admissions especially the nurses on the 3rd floor who made Joyce's final days peaceful and comfortable.

According to Joyce's wishes there will be no visitation and private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Spirit of 76 Volunteer Fire Dept. Key, Ohio 43906.
