Joyce Nicole Yates, 31 of Wheeling passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, February 27, 2023.  She was born August 1, 1991, the daughter of Bruce Yates I of Shadyside and Christina Ullom of Bridgeport.

She was a 2009 graduate of Bridgeport High School where she was a member of the Young Marines.  Joyce was in management with the Charter Food Corporation and a Christian by faith.

She was preceded in death by her sister; Kendal Ullom.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother; Christina Ullom and her Fiancé Joseph Wall, and her father; Bruce Yates I, Fiancé; Patrick O'Brien, mother-in-law; Helena O'Brien, children; Amara, Patrick and Kenneth O'Brien, Cayden and Sophia Yates, Grandmother; Sandra Roberts, siblings; Keven (Kaylynn) Yates, Benjamin (Becky) Yates, Bruce (Brianna) Yates II, and Christin (Sid) Yates.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 2-6pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.

In lieu of flowers monetary contributions can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
