Judith F. Burghy, 72, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Cumberland Pointe Care Center. She was born December 27, 1940 in Belmont, Ohio, daughter of the late Forrest A. Blon and Pauline A. Tiber Blon. Judy had retired from Barnesville Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn T. Burghy; and brothers, Fred A. Blon and Delbert V. Blon. Judy is survived by her daughters, Angie (Roger) Heskett of Barnesville, Ohio, Sheila (Mike) Nicholes of Belmont, Ohio, and Stacy (Rick) Angelo of Flusing, Ohio; sons, Tom (Angel) Burghy of Flushing, Ohio and Dave (Sue) Burghy of Lafferty, Ohio; sisters, Shirley Piatt of Flushing, Ohio, Darlene Hinkle of Bethesda, Ohio, and Linda Hashman of Barnesville, Ohio; brother, Ed Blon of Belmont, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Tessy, Amity, Jessica, Tony, Ronnie, Brittany, Chance, Sammi, Ryan, Brandon, Adam, and Roman; and 13 great-grandchildren. Family and friends may visit, Saturday 5 to 9 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where the service will be conducted, Sunday 1 p.m. Pastor Bob Merritt will be officiating.
