Judith M. "Judy" (Dripcheck) Thomas Zych, 71, of Weirton, WV formerly of Lorain, OH and Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV. She was born May 6, 1940 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Michael and Eva (Olinger) Dripcheck. Judy was a longtime volunteer for the Salvation Army of Lorain, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband George E. Thomas, her second husband Kenneth Zych, and two brothers Billie and Timmy Dripcheck. Surviving are two sons George M. (Fiance-Janet Lawing) Thomas of Weirton, and Douglas E. (Lynn) Thomas of Orlanda, FL, a daughter Diana L. (Larry) Ambercrombie of Dallas Pikw, WV, three brothers Thomas (Lynn) Blinco of Oberlin, OH, Ken (Viola) Blinco, and Bob Dripcheck both of Lorain, OH, five sisters Sue Nicola of Bridgeport, OH, Delores (Ray) Van Meter of Pomeroy, OH, Margie Scott, Bertha (Melvin) Harltline, and Brenda (Ted) Burges all of Lorain, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Monday, Oct. 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport, OH. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
