Julia Meeker Julia Flak Meeker, 82, of Burton, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Wed., Feb. 19, 2003 at Burton Health Care Center, Burton. She was born Sept. 22. 1920 in Fairpoint, OH a daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Bosak Flak. She was a member of the Aquilla Bible Chapel, Burton, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Adam E. Meeker, Sr. and a son Adam E. Meeker, Jr. Surviving are her son James E. (Kathleen) Meeker, two daughters Julia (Joe) Wengerd, and Patricia E. Meeker, a brother Walter Flak, six grandchildren Jackie (Curt) Lequyea, Debbie (Chris) Carver, Mary Ellen Gust, Jim (Stacey) Meeker, Jr., Michael Meeker and Theresa Meeker, and seven great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sat, Feb. 22, 2003 at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH from 11AM until time of services at 1:00 PM when Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence will officiate. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
