STRAUSS, Julia, 93, of Lansing, Ohio, died Friday July 2, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio. She was born in Lansing on October 22, 1916, a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Kura Ryncarz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Strauss in 2002, a brother Thomas Ryncarz and a sister Anna DeCola. Julia is survived by several nieces and nephews including Patricia Smigill and Richard Ryncarz. She is also a member of SNPJ #562 and PNA Lodges; a former employee of Harts Department Store and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst. Friends will be received Monday 4-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio where vigil service will be held at 4 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Reverend John Mucha as celebrant.
