Obituary

June "Gram" (Bellville) Kirkpatrick, 94, of Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, Apr. 9, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Aug. 26, 1915 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Charles and Sara (Hildebrand) Bellville. She was a retired nurses aide at Martins Ferry Hospital where she worked for 41 years. June was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James O. Kirkpatrick, a son James H. Kirkpatrick, and a daughter Beverly J. Kirkpatrick, a grandson Bud Kirkpatrick, a brother Bill Bellville, and two sisters Ruth Davis and Helen Hodgkiss. Surviving are her daughter Barbara (Carl) Stabile of Martins Ferry, a son Jeff (Cheri) Kirkpatrick of Rome, GA, six grandchildren Rhonda (Nick) Bernardo, Joyce (Dave Snyder) Stewart, Jake (Fiancé Lauren Boatfield) Kirkpatrick, Luke Kirkpatrick, Jim Kirkpatrick, and Kim Wilson, and four great grandchildren A. J. Kirkpatrick, Jamie Stewart, Gina Bernardo, and Ava Kirkpatrick. June dedicated her life to others especially her children and grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tuesday, Apr. 13, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Van D. Fisher officiating, Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
