June E. (Howell) McKee, 90, of Brandon, FL, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008 at The Inn at Hawthorne, Brandon, FL. She was born June 18, 1918 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Wood) Howell. June was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry and the Order of Eastern Star of McArthur, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph H. McKee, a brother Daniel W. Howell, and a sister Mary Jane Grey. Surviving are her son Daniel McKee and his wife Diane of Valrico, FL, two grandchildren Daniel C. McKee of Tampa, FL, and Kristen Marie McKee of Birmingham, AL, and three nieces Christine Sibol and Kathleen Govekar of Melbourne, FL, and Donna Howell of San Francisco, CA. Friends will be received Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, 11 am until time of services at 2:00 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, OH.
