June Annette Stobbs, 86, of Wheeling, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, in Peterson Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on December 9, 1935, in Wheeling a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Stephens) West.  June was a member of the First Baptist Church, Wheeling.

She is survived by her son, George (Connie) Stobbs Jr.; daughter, Sandra Whitley; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Stobbs Sr. in 2000; son, Richard Stobbs; daughter, Georgi Ann Smith; five brothers; three sisters; and a grandson, Chatt Hyder.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1 pm in Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Darrin Wright officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 1470 National Rd., Wheeling, WV 26003 in June's memory.
