Karen J. (Maguire) Godwin, 56, of Broadway St., Martins Ferry, OH died Feb., 22, 2006 at home. She was born Apr., 11, 1949 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Harrison and Lucille M.(Semple) Maguire. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alton R."Duster" Godwin. Surviving are two daughters Melissa (Chris) Simoncic of Findlay, OH and Tiffany Godwin of Wheeling, WV, two brothers Michael and George Maguire of VA, four sisters Linda (Thomas) Boyer of Bellaire, Martha (Jim) Godwin of MI, Marsha (Thomas) Hepburn of Martins Ferry and Mary Beth (Richard) Perry of VA, a grandson Joshua Godwin. Friends will be received Sat., 6-8 PM and Sun., 12-2 PM & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Mon., Feb. 27, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Minister Rod Kasler officiating.
