Karen S. (Runnion) Bishop, 63, of Martins Ferry, OH died, Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born June 9, 1945 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Clarence and Alberta (Hungerman) Runnion. She formerly worked at Nickles Bakery and was a member of the First Christian Church both of Martins Ferry, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two brothers Robert and Clarence "Bud" Runnion. Surviving are her two daughters Tammy (Donald) Myers and Kimberly Jackson both of Martins Ferry, five sisters; Patsy (Ken) Speidel of Harrisville, WV, Phyllis (Richard) Easton of Wheeling Island, Joyce Jackson of Rayland, OH, Vickie (Willie) Kettler of Warwood, WV and Linda Rupp of Martins Ferry, five grandchildren; Nicole Seevers, Corey Jackson, Christopher Jackson, D.J. Myers, and Kirsten Jackson, two great grandchildren; Colin and Avery Jackson and a best friend, Patty Shafer. Friends will be received Monday, 6-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, where services will be held, Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Minister Rod Kasler officiating.
