Karen S. (Smith) Green, 69, of Martins Ferry, OH passed Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born Jan. 14, 1948 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late William T. Smith, Sr. and Ruby E. (Jones) Smith.

She was a former dispatcher for Fraley & Schilling Trucking, Brilliant, OH.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, William T. Smith, Jr.

Surviving are her husband Orville Green, son William E. (Vickie) Green of Pleasant Grove, OH, and sisters; Eva Ann (Kenneth) Hinzey of Martins Ferry and Brenda J. McElwain of Colerain Pike, OH, grandaughters; Madison R. Green of SC and Shelly Crothers of Cadiz, OH, grandson, Joshua Crothers of Yorkville, OH and great grandchildren; Jakob, Austin and Kayleigh Crothers and Serenity Toth.

Friends will be received Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 6 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. William O. Webster officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
