Karen L. (Sprouse) Kennedy, 67, of Colerain, OH, died Monday, May 14, 2018 at Park Health Care Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born October 18, 1950 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Roy Sprouse and Dolores M. (Skinner) Sprouse Egan.

She worked for the former Farm Fresh of Colerain. Karen was a member of the Family Life Ministry Center, Brookside, OH.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Sprouse.

Surviving are her husband, Jan G. Kennedy, her son, David L. (Amity) Kennedy of West Chester, OH, grandchildren, Landon and Addison Kennedy and siblings; Diane Sprouse and Susan M. Roe both of Martins Ferry, Molly (Tom) Schrader of Adena, OH, Daniel (Joy) Egan of Fond Du Lac, WI and Samuel (Karen) Egan, Jr. of Butler, PA and sister-in-law, Patty Sprouse.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Friday, 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. with Pastors Leonard Payne and Tom Schrader officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
