Karol L. ?Mugga? Schambach 73 of Kilgore Road West Wheeling, died Thursday May 5, 2011 in Wheeling Hospital. She was born October 13, 1937 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Frank and Edmee Hanna. Karol was retired from the Bridgeport Village School District ; where she cherished her friendship and love for 33 years with her co-workers and students, she was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Bridgeport, where she served the Lord as the Church Organist. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde ?Sonny? Schambach, an infant son Brent, and her daughter-in-law Lee Ann Schambach. Karol is survived by her children, three sons Brian Schambach of Glen Dale, WV, Todd Schambach of Wheeling (Mary Beth Timko) of St. Clairsville, Randy Schambach and his wife Pam of Follansbee, two daughters, Missy Schambach and Jimmy Hood of Martins Ferry, and Shawna Schambach of Home, A brother Donald (Pat) Hanna of New Martinsville WV, two sisters Jo Ann Johnson of Bellaire, and Pat (Jim) Glover of Mt. Olivet WV. Mugga is also survived by six grandchildren who were the pride and joy of her life. Trent and Carson Schambach of Glen Dale, Tori Helmbright at home, Austin and Kelly Schambach of Follansbee, and Morgan Drotos of St. Clairsville. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Sunday May 8, 2011 from 12noon till 8 pm, where services will be held on Monday at 11 am with Rev. James Rhodes officiating. Interment will be in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
