Katherine Joyce Moore, 93, of Rayland, Ohio, passed Saturday August 13, 2016 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born in Rayland on January 4, 1923, a daughter of the late Earl and Jessie Swartz Thornton. Katherine is a member of the Rush Run Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Moore, daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Daniel Brown; granddaughter Meagan Fowler; brother: Charles Swartz and an infant brother. Katherine is survived by her son Edwin "Ed" & Christy Moore of St. Clairsville, OH & sister Irene Sprinkle; Grandchildren: Jason (& Wendy) Brown, Jodi (& Jerome) Bonomo, Jill (& David) Kee, Deni (& Gary) Fowler, Carrie (& Benjamin) Nobile. Great Grandchildren: McKayla, Kenzie & Kyleigh Kee, Addison & Roman Bonomo, Shayna, Hannah, & Raegan Fowler, Vincent & Dallas Nobile, Allexis & Jordyn Spencer. Friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 102 Main Street, Tiltonsville, Ohio, and also on Thursday August 18 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. with Minister Ed Moore officiating.
