Kathleen P. Bommer 79 of Bridgeport, died Friday January 9, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling. She was born December 7, 1935 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Amon and Dorothy (Feeters) McSword. She was a retired employee of Wilson Lodge Wheeling with 47 years of service, a member of the First Christian Church Martins Ferry, she attended Martins Ferry High School, and loved to play bingo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Theodore J. "Ted" Bommer Sr. in 1994, a brother Amon McSword, and a sister Susie Keiger. Kathleen is survived by her children Theodore J. "Ted" Bommer Jr. of Martins Ferry, Daniel (Diane) Bommer of Wintersville, Pamela J. Asbury and Chris Bommer both of Bridgeport, and Polly (Mark) Lutz of Westerville, Ohio, a sister Sally Orzolek of Martins Ferry. Eight grandchildren Heather O'Connor, Heather Brown, Stephanie Sable, Megan Lutz, Natalee and Kelly Bommer, Kayla Lutz, and Brittany Bommer, a great grandson Aiden Brown.Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Monday January 12, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Minister Rod Kasler officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.To leave he family a condolence please visit www.wilsonfuneralhomes.com
