Kathleen Louise Piper, 62, of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 in her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 23, 1957 in Martins Ferry a daughter of Eileen (Miller) Karkula and the late John Karkula.  Kathleen loved spending time with her family and tending to her beautiful flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Piper; a daughter, Kelly Bommer; 2 sisters, Jean Berus and Patty (Raymond) Huffman and 2 brothers, John (Laura) Karkula and Joe (Liz) Karkula.
