Kathleen S. Mozie, 79 of Martins Ferry, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at Wheeling Continues Care surrounded by her family. She was born on October 1, 1946, in Martins Ferry, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Szabo) Mozie.

Kathleen was a proud graduate of Martins Ferry High School, Class of 1964, Wheeling Hospital School of Nursing, in 1967, and finally finishing her bachelor's in nursing from the University of Cincinnati, where she also earned her anesthetist credentials. She embraced her role as a devoted nurse with grace and dedication, tirelessly nurturing her many patients. Her unwavering commitment to caring for those around her left an impression on everyone who knew her. She was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Martins Ferry.

She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Mozie, as well as many cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited to Graveside services on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11am at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove, with Rev. Bill Lawrence officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
