Kathryn Marie Fortz, 93, of Bridgeport, Ohio, formerly of Yorkville, Ohio, passed Thursday January 15, 2015 at Belmont Manor, St. Clairsville. She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on April 18, 1921, a daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Rinderer Snodgrass. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Fortz, and her son Robert Fortz. Kathryn is survived by a son Charles S. Fortz of Yorkville; a daughter Suzanne L. (John) Barath of Bridgeport, a brother Joseph Lee Snodgrass of Minerva, Ohio; grandchildren: Christel (Todd) Harding, Steven (Brittany) Fortz, Brandon, Amanda Barath; great-grandchildren Dylan, Chazz, Taylor, Abbie and Jordyn. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Monday January 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Philip Van Dam officiating.
