Kathy Tracey Nickerson, 50, of Wheeling, W.Va., passed Friday February 27, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on June 18, 1964, a daughter of the late Robert G. Tracey Sr., and Nora Lee Smith Tracey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Charles Allen Tracey. Before her illness, Kathy was an active member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church. Kathy is survived by her husband Eugene "Ed" Nickerson, son Chad Michael Tracey of Shadyside, daughters Courtney Marie Nickerson of home, Adele "Sissy" Schrebe of Martins Ferry; Carissa Schmit, Aimee Booth both of Shadyside; sisters: Deborah "Debbie" Ickler, Jackie Tracey, Robin (Gary) Lucas all of Martins Ferry, Terry (Buddy) Runyan of Shadyside; brothers: Robert "Bob" Tracey of Martins Ferry, Bill (Hope) Tracey of Akron, Ohio, Tim (Kim) Tracey of Shadyside; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces , nephews, great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received for a memorial visitation 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio where memorial services will be held Saturday March 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard Skaggs officiating.
