Kathy Sue Smith 72, of Martins Ferry passed away Monday January 31, 2022, at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born April 09, 1949, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late George and Ina (Ferrell) Post.

She was retired from Business Machine Services in Martins Ferry also Brent and Brady Bisbocci Chiropractic, she was a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons Eric and Robert Smith, her siblings Romie Post, Sandra Post, Flora Post, Ina Kuhn, and Cheryl Bennett.

Kathy is survived by her sons Michael (Christine) Norman of Germany, and Sean Norman of Brilliant, siblings Linda (George)Tice of Jacobsburg, Carol Toland of St. Clairsville, Reta Coen of Mt. Pleasant, and Roger Post of Charlotte, NC, also several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home Heslop Chapel 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry on Sunday February 6, 2022, from 5 till 8 pm, where services will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 10 am with Rev. Bertha Crane officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
