Katy (Haleski) Hartman, 91, of Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home, Bridgeport, OH. She was born Sept. 8, 1919 in Bridgeport, OH a daughter of the late Anton and Katarzyna (Posobiec) Haleski. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Martins Ferry and worked many years for the former Kaufman's of Wheeling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Hartman, five brothers and six sisters. Surviving are three sons Thomas J. (Marcia) Hartman of Knoxville, TN, Alan G. Hartman of Martins Ferry, OH and Phillip E. (Billie) Hartman of Colerain, OH, a daughter Loreen (Smitty) Myers of Pleasant Grove, OH, ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 12 - 3 and 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Van Fisher officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
