Keli Rene Phillips, 40, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Eastern Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born August 18, 1972 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of Glenn Phillips and Vicki Wisor Funkhouser. Keli was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Nyle and Lois Phillips and maternal grandparents, Milton and Edna Wisor. Keli is survived by her daughter, Kayla Shultz of Bethesda, Ohio; son, James Underwood of Martins Ferry, Ohio; parents, Glenn and Jane Phillips of Bellaire, Ohio and Vicki and Charles Funkhouser of Bethesda, Ohio; sisters, Penny (Dan) Schmitt of Belmont, Ohio and Missy Weas of Bellaire, Ohio; brothers, Glenn Phillips of Barnesville, Ohio, Duane Kesterson of Bridgeport, Ohio, and Tom Funkhouser of Bethesda, Ohio; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Bible Church, 401 South Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Pastor Jack Palmer will be officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of Keli's family. Memorial contributions may be made to Keli's family.
