Kendall H. Mozena, 78, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. He was born June 7, 1937 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Kendall R. and Mary J. (Hanna) Mozena. Kendall retired from Ormet Corp. His second retirement was from Community Action Committee and Tappan Lake Park. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and patrolled the Berlin Wall during the Berlin Airlift. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Dean Mozena. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Linda L (Paxton) Mozena, his son, Gene (Patricia) Mozena of Martins Ferry, a sister Suellen Lewis and a brother, Bert L. Mozena both of Weirton, WV and his granddaughter, Emily Mozena. Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm where services will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
