Obituary

Kenneth Allison Bennett Jr., 67, of Bridgeport, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, in his residence. He was born on May 31, 1956, in Ridley Park, PA, a son of the late Kenneth A. Bennett Sr. and Margaret (Renshaw) Bennett. He was Catholic by faith, and retired from Kimberly Clark in Chester, PA, where he was a machine operator. Kenny loved spending time with his family and friends. Kenny had a lifelong love of Bethany Beach, DE. Where he enjoyed boating, clamming, outdoor work, raking leaves, cleaning out the shed, and sitting by the fire pit. Kenny also loved to paint, he painted the houses for many family members and friends; he never swayed from looking the part with paint all over himself.  Kenny also had a passion for playing keyboard every chance he had….loud and proud.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth R. Bennett, and Matthew Bennett; siblings, Debbie Bennett, Dawn (Mark) Theriault, Ray (Karen) Bennett, Jean (Rob) Rickards, and Jackie (Michelle) Bennett; three grandchildren, Angelina, Kenny Jr, and Lilly; along with many loving nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his long term love, Debbie Salem, and her family; Carmella, Tina, Benny, and Emmie; and his faithful companion, Pugsie.

Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. Local arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
