Kevin Jay Brown, 52, of Bethesda, Ohio, died April 4, 2016, from a work related accident. He was born December 23, 1963 in Barnesville, Ohio, son of Mary Marlene Phillips Dobrich and the late Marvin W. Brown, Jr. A devoted husband, father, son, and brother, he had a passion for Harley motorcycles, and was a skilled brick layer. Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and loved his dog, Ozzy. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Lucille Phillips; paternal grandparents, Marvin and Isabelle Brown, Sr. Kevin is survived by his wife Christy Brown of Bethesda, Ohio; daughters, Abby, Kylee, and Yo; parents, Marlene and Nick Dobrich of Bethesda, Ohio; sisters, Kathy (Rick) Fowkes of Bethesda, Ohio, Karen (Bill) Gallagher-Provencher of Pembroke, New Hampshire, Jeanette (Craig) Dobrich of Columbus, Ohio, Valorie Dobrich of Meeker, Colorado; brothers, Steven (Shirlena) Dobrich, Eric (Patty) Dobrich all of Magalia, California; and nephews, Dustin (Andrea) Fowkes, Dylan Fowkes, Jacob (Emily) Gallagher, Jarrod Gallagher, Jordan Dobrich and Ben Dobrich; and nieces, Jillian Gallagher and Elizabeth Dobrich. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kelly Kemp Braido Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where the service will be conducted, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh will be officiating. Interment will follow at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City, Ohio, where Military Honors will be presented by Belmont County Veterans' Association.
