Lamont Carrol Walters, 59, of Moundsville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was born June 16, 1967, in Glen Dale, a son of Carroll and Sylvia (Stargen) Walters Sr. Lamont was a hard worker at Wheeling Linen for many years. He was a great son, brother, loving father and Paw Paw. Lamont was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Carroll E. Walters Jr.; and a sister, Shelly Walters.

Left to cherish his memory is his parents; children, Taylor August, Paige August, Casey Plants (Chris Flati) and Tayvon Walters; grandchildren, Jaxxen and Avah Walters and Leilani and Channel Flati; sisters, Melissa Walters Pugh and her children, Shylea Walters and Isreal Pugh; and Mesa (Stanley) McGonigle Flowers; a brother, William Scales; special cousin, Eddie Stargen; nephew Dasani Vingio and many nieces, nephews, and Walters and Stargen family members.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
