Lana Kay Ankrom Orr, 73, of Bethesda passed away on April 8, 2025 surrounded by her family at Barnesville Hospital. She was born on June 3, 1951 to the late Robert A. and Helen Virginia Mae Jones Ankrom in Wheeling, WV.

Lana was a retired social worker for Awakenings and Youth Service Systems.  She married Robert Dale Orr on January 29, 1971 in St. Clairsville.  She loved people and animals.  She was the rock and glue of her family and will be dearly missed.

Lana was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Orr of Bethesda; two sons, Shaun Orr of Bellaire and Timothy (fiancé Lisa Stine) of Maynard; adopted son William Palmer of Shadyside; special daughter Amy Gill Orr of Bethesda; four grandchildren, Justina (Alex Wilson) Campbell of Cleveland, Jared (Hope Baker) Rasberry of Bethesda, Aryelle (Bryan) Preston, Acacia (Sean Everits) Rasberry of Wheeling; four great grandchildren, Abel Preston, Kayci Preston, Amara Preston and Amethyst Preston; many nieces, nephews and cousins and 3 fur babies at home.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 11am to the time of service at 1pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, OH 43719.
