April 24, 1949 – February 1, 2024
Lawrence "Larry" Krob, 74 of Bridgeport passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital. He was born April 24, 1949, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Frank J. and Mary Margaret (Kaska) Krob.
He was retired from R & F Coal Company, a member of the former All Saints Catholic Church, a veteran of the United States Navy, former member of the VFW Colerain Post #8848, he was a member of the Sonny Boy Club, and Classy Chasis Car Club.
Larry was an avid classic car show attendee. He had a love for his classic cars, Pittsburgh Steelers, and breakfast with his friends. He was devoted to his family, kids, and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lee Ann (Marinacci) Krob and brother Frank Krob.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kevin (LaNette) Krob of Bridgeport, Kelli (Bryan) Hilt of Glen Dale, Kori (Jason) Rosnick of Bridgeport, grandchildren, Madison, and Shane (Helen) Krob and Kason Rosnick, Bryan J. (Samantha) Hilt, Nicholas, and Allison Hilt.
Family will receive friends on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 2-8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 11am at the funeral home with David Demarest officiating. Full Military Honors will be presented by The Belmont County Veterans Association at the funeral home right before the funeral service. Burial to follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
