Obituary

Larry R. Moore, 63, of Bridgeport, OH died Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. He was born February 22, 1953 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Rex R. Moore, Sr., step-father, Earl E. Burch and mother Virginia L. (Talarico) Burch. He was a former employee of the Imperial Glass Co., retired from Consol Shoemaker Mine and was a member of the United Mine Workers Association District 6. Larry was a Baptist by faith and an avid Purple Rider and Steeler's fan. Larry loved to spend time with his wife visiting their grandchildren. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. In addition to his parents and step-father, he was preceded in death by a brother Rex Moore, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Karen L. (Freese) Moore, children; Sherri (Philip) Eimer of Martins Ferry and Brian J. (Michaela) Moore of Noblesville, IN, siblings; Raymond Czarnecki of Martins Ferry, Earl (Mary) Burch of Wheeling, WV, Lillian Davis of Martins Ferry, Virginia (Richard) Conaway of Bridgeport, OH, Joyce (Ray Bruce) Czarnecki of Martins Ferry, Diane Gamble of McMechen, WV and David Moore of FL, grandchildren; Jessica and Samantha Eimer and Kendall Moore and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Sunday 12-3 and 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Monday, August 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Larry Kline officiating. Burial follows at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Memorial contributions may be made to Belmont County Animal Shelter, 45244 National Rd. W., St. Clairsville, OH 43950 Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book below.
