LARRY NOWAKOWSKI, 67, of Lansing, died Friday, September 19, 2008 at OVMC in Wheeling. He was born March 8, 1941 in Wheeling, the son of the late Sigmund ""Ziggy"" and Anna (Mirczak) Nowakowski. Larry was a member of the St. Clairsville Church of Christ and was an employee of the former Clevite Corp. and Capitol Manufacturing. Larry is survived by two sons Larry of Colerain and James and his wife Lori of Colerain; four daughters Darlene Baker and her husband Ron of Lansing, Teresa Falbo and her husband Don of St. Clairsville, Karen Digiandomenico and her husband Bob of Martins Ferry and Katheryn Swiger and her husband Dave of Painesville, OH; two brothers Robert of Bridgeport and Bernard and his wife Janet of Delaware; 14 grandchildren Ronnie, Aaron and Cameron Baker, Emily and Julie Nowakowski, Vince Magnone, Donie, Nick and Isabel Falbo, Bobby and Kyle Digiandomenico, Breanne Swiger and Dylan and Kayla Nowakowski; as well as a very close friend Harry Ott. Visitation will be Monday 5 - 9 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am with Everett Hutson officiating. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
