Larry Lee Rice, 64, of Rice Dr., Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at home. He was born July 18, 1946 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Ernest Ray and Mureldine (Alltop) Rice. He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, and a member of the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Ernest R. Rice, Jr., and two sisters Jesse M. Knepper, and Betty L. Rice. Surviving are his wife Emma "Tammy" (Thomas) Rice, three sons Randy Lee Rice, and Dean Allen (Gail) Rice all of Martins Ferry, and Ernest Ray (Mandy) Rice of St. Clairsville, OH and, three daughters Jennifer Ann (Mike) Porter of Irmo, SC, Sharon (Rudy) Avila of St. Clairsville, OH, and Tonya LeAnn Rice of Martin Ferry, a brother Paul (Mary Ann) Rice of Martins Ferry, two sisters Leona Kay Rice of Bridgeport, OH, and Rena (Rudy) Bauer of O'Delll, IL. ,eleven granddaughters and three grandsons.
