Larry Robert Thompson, 75, of Wheeling, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, in his residence. He was born in Steubenville on June 29, 1946, a son of the late Lawrence and Helen (Marker) Thompson. He served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam, was an Ordained Minister, a former member of the Dillonvale VFD, and the American Legion. Larry also enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting baseball cards and wrestling.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Penny (Watson) Thompson; sons, daughters, a brother, a sister, grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Larry Thompson Jr., and Tracey Scott Thompson; a brother, Kenny Bake and a sister, Pat Hawthorne.

Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 am in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. .
