Larry Thompson, 82, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away on December 18, 2023.  He was born on November 4, 1941 to the late Alfred and Iva (Pickens) Thompson.

Larry retired from Goodyear Tire after 45+ years.  He was Catholic by faith.  Larry loved to spend time in his garden growing his own food.  His specialty was pecan pie with pecans from his trees.  He also liked to read and bake bread.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Stanley Thompson, Helen Johnson, and Ruth Lallathin.

Left to cherish his memory are children, Scott (Rebecca) Thompson of Stow, OH, David Thompson of Tiptonville, OH, Richard (Tammy) Thompson of Hornbeak, TN; brother, Fred Thompson of Bethesda, OH; caregiver, Edna Morris of Bethesda, OH; special friend, June Cooper of Martin, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Larry's wishes, all services are private.  Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719 is assisting the family.
