TENNYSON, Laura Mae Neiman, 89, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Tuesday October 14, 2008. She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on July 8, 1919, a daughter of the late John and Mary Snyder Neiman. Laura was a member of Bridgeport Eagles Auxiliary, Bridgeport Fire Department Auxiliary, Legion Auxiliary, and a Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Tennyson; a daughter, Karen Ann Tennyson and seven brothers and sisters. Laura is survived by her son, Charles E. Tennyson Jr. and his wife Nancy of Shadyside, Ohio; two granddaughters: Jennifer Spurlock and her husband Dean of TN., and Jane Anne Tennyson , a grandson, Michael Tennyson, all of Shadyside, Ohio, a great granddaughter, Laura Ann Spurlock. Friends will be received Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio where services will be held Friday October 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Evangelist Jeffery Kent officiating.
