Lavonne (Fox) Dellacoletta 86 of Smithfield, Ohio passed into God's Care at Gables Care Center Cadiz Sunday February 19, 2012. She was born September 5, 1925 in Dillonvale the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Stills Fox. Lavonne grew up in Dillonvale and graduated from Dillonvale High School in 1943.During WWII she worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. After the war she returned to Dillonvale working as a secretary for a local attorney when she met and later married Albert "Bert" Dellacoletta in 1948. They were married over 55 years until Albert's death in January 2004. She was the first woman Elder of the Smithfield Presbyterian Church where she was a member for over 60 years. She also served as church financial secretary for 31 years, and missionary secretary for 40 years, also she was a member of the Piney Fork Legion Aux. for 41 years, Smithfield senior citizens, and Historical Society. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing, for beloved family. In addition to her parents Lavonne was preceded in death by a Brother Myron Fox. She is survived by two sons;Norman (Cynthia) Dellacoletta of Westerville, Ohio, and Brent Dellacoletta of Louisville, KY. two sisters; Annitta Schrickel of Massillon, and Catherine (Julian) Frank of Annapolis, MD, and several beloved nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to pay tribute to Lavonne's life Wednesday February 22, 2012 at Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillonvale from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and then on Thursday from 10:30 am till time of service at 11 am the Smithfield Presbyterian Church with Rev.
