LAWRENCE H. "BABE" ROWSON

Lawrence H. "Babe" Rowson, 90, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away peacefully, August 29, 2020 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab.  He was born February 3, 1930 in Bellaire, Ohio, to James and Mary Rutter Rowson and was one of four siblings that blessed the Rowson family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Rowson and sisters, Mary Louise Driscoll and Virginia Rowson.

He worked in the furnace maintenance department at the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel plant.  He enjoyed bowling, golf, and basketball and was very in tune with sports in general.  A man with a kind heart, he was always thoughtful and had a way of always making everyone he came in contact with, feel very special.

Lawrence will be remembered always by those who survive; his dear niece and her husband, Mary Virginia and Pat Myers and their family; April Jo (Jeremy) Taylor, Ryan P. (Kelly) Myers, QuinnLyn Taylor, Austin Taylor, Ava Taylor, Payton Myers, and Paxton Myers.

Lawrence wishes were for there to be no visitation or service.  A private interment will take place at the convenience of his family at Greenwood Cemetery in Bellaire.
