Lawrence E. "Larry" Nisperly Sr., 88 of Bridgeport, died Sunday June 5, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. He was born September 26, 1927 in Bridgeport, a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Gross) Nisperly. He was the retired owner and operator of Nisperly Trucking Bridgeport, a WWII Veteran in the US Army, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Brookside, the Bridgeport American Legion post #995, and the brotherhood of the Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Robert Nisperly, Helen Alli, and Elizabeth Gregg. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Eileen (Vierheller) Nisperly, sons Larry (Lisa) Nisperly Jr. of Bellaire, Bill (Denise) Nisperly Hiram GA, and Thomas (Donna) Nisperly of Dallas Georgia, a daughter Barbara Ann (Don) East of Bannock, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Wednesday June 8, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, and then on Thursday from 1 till time of service at 2 pm, with Pastor Karen Torrez officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
