Lawrence Jay Sockman, 40, of Main St., Holloway, OH died Thur., Jan. 20, 2005 at home. He was born Sept. 24, 1964 in Martins Ferry a son of James Sockman, Sr. and the late Helen J. (Vought) Sockman. Surviving in addition to his father of Holloway are four brothers James Sockman, Jr. of Holloway, Raymond , Charles, and Michael Sockman all of Bridgeport, and a sister Nora Watson of Martins Ferry. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
