Lee Ann Whetsell, 66, of Martins Ferry, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, in her home.  She was born on September 30, 1956, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Edward Falkenstein and Gloria (Goletz) Beasley.  LeeAnn was employed for over 20 years by Main Street Bank.  She was also a member of the Wheeling Lions Club and enjoyed traveling and painting.  She was also an avid Ohio State fan and animal lover.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Neely Whetsell; three sisters, Deborah (Clayton) Baxter, Roberta (Steve) Kendell, and Jennifer (Brian) Barnes; a brother, Harold (Sandra) Dayton; stepmother, Josie Falkenstein; aunt, Patty Fincham; many nieces and nephews; her beloved dog Kodak and grand dogs, Forest, and Penny.

Friends may call Thursday from 3-6:30 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 6:30 pm in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter, 45244 National Rd West, St. Clairsville, OH 43950 in her memory
