Lee Fredric Mooney 75 of Smithfield died Thursday, February 22, 2011 at Trinity West Hospital Steubenville. He was born March 28, 1935 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Edward and Marie Hipscher Mooney. He was retired from the Jefferson County Dept. of Human Services, a member of the Smithfield United Methodist Church, the Friends of Smithfield, and President of the Smithfield Historical Society. He will be missed by his family and many, many friends. A memorial service will be held at the Smithfield Historical Society 1313 Main St. Smithfield, on March 19, 2011 at 2 pm.
