Lena (Dattoli) Agostinelli, 91, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH and Wheeling, WV, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011 at Forest Hill Retirement Community, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born Mar. 18, 1920 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Bruno and Rose (Perri) Dattoli. She retired from the Martins Ferry School System Dietary Dept. at the former South School. Lena was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry, the Bridgeport Chapter of AARP, and Keenagers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Agostinelli, Sr., her daughter Gloria Jean Bodkin, brothers Tony and Robert Dattoli, and sisters Annie Bellia and Mary Gardner. Surviving are her son Edward Agostinelli, Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Spanish Fort, AL, four grandchildren Dennis Bodkin, John Bodkin, Anthony Agostinelli, and Alisa Pettry, and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Entombment follows in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Wheeling, WV. Wake services will be held Sunday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.heslop.com.
